Dorie Giragosian

I started in organic gardening clubs in Orange County, CA. When I moved to Bakersfield, I became interested in native plants. (After 2 months in CNPS, I was drafted as president. I joined WMA, then CAL- IPC, because I figured there were less plants to learn on the invasive list, and I could pull invasives from my yard, and there would be a chance the remainers were natives.) I am still learning, but have access to lots of contacts thru statewide CNPS meetings quarterly, and state-level committees that I am on.
